@swirler Looks like Craig Ervine could be making a return to international cricket for Zimbabwe. He could potentially be on this tour but we should almost certainly see him in action in domestic cricket.

Lets just hope that he hasn't returned just because of the WC.

Good news. I think Zimbabwe actually having some money, and paying their players (despite still being heavily in debt) probably tempted him back; the world cup would of been an added bonus.

It is exciting that Burl will be apart of the domestic season, I wish him every success, he's given up a lot for his country.

Sounds like Greg Lamb was at the spin camp as well, helping out. Who will be next? :D

Ha, I just made a post on this over at ZCF :)

I can see Jarvis being tempted, he didn't exactly have a good county season. Cremer might be another...watch this space I suppose :D

Yeah i'm also looking forward to seeing how Burl goes, I heard that the season is due to start in early November. cant wait! :)

According to me Bangladesh will win the series against Zimbabwe because bagladesh has good batting and bowling lineup and they also have commitment to win the match

Well of course home advantage counts and we all know that Zimbabwe struggle against spin but if the likes of Williams, Taylor and Ervine (if he's picked) who are all good players of spin can score big runs then you never know. I think all the matches will be interesting and close encounters.

Moor just hit an unbeaten century in a practice game, could well be on this tour :)

I don't see Vermeulen being part of the squad this time around
Yeah, Mark had his chance to impress on the 'A' tour a few weeks back but unfortunately didn't impress.

Anybody know what the situation is with Sean Williams?

I think I read somewhere that he wasn't fit and didn't train much during the spin camp and if I'm not mistaken he isn't part of the squad down in Triangle. I'm pretty sure he will be fit in time before the start of the tour. It didn't seem like a serious injury, just a slight niggle I think

Greg Lamb ????
Yeah I know, it was completely out of the blue and so was Matsikenyeri's return.

Any word on when the squads are going to be announced? It's only 4 days until the first warm up match.
