Semifinals and Final

My previous post was meant to do exactly this -- jinx the Aussie run chase !
Great win.

The 2 teams which got knocked out in the first round of the 50-over WC are now in the finals !
Who`d have thought that !!

exactly !! plus, all credit to the men in blue....coming to this tournament as
underdogs with no practice matches or much t20 experience and
reaching the finals defeating the aussies :D

Definitely we outplayed them. There were moments in the match where we could've really gotten out of the game. Moments of brilliance turned the match for us (Yuvi's batting. Sree's last over followed by the late flurry of wicket-taking deliveries.) Sree definitely the pick of our bowlers today.

That's not taking away anything from Australia who did a great job of working towards the target.

I don't wanna comment on what "World Champions" guy here says besides, I just noticed - Whichever Team he likes is a Champion Team, I would really like to know how old he is and what he does he do !! I guess I know many similar kinda guys.

No one is denying :) atlist Australia didnt get cripple like Saffers

From where did South Africa come here in this talk  that was so mature isn't it . .haha . .i just can't stop laughing at that comment :D

I like the two interview's from the captains which were both honest.
A great game of cricket and a fantastic advert for twenty20 cricket.

Too be honest im not that fussed, I know it will continue to be a tournament but I dont really see Twenty20 as a good form of cricket and before you say it its not because we lost.

Michael Husseys injury definately put our momentum out of sorts and Sreeshsath bowled really well it was just a shame to see him still carrying on after the match at the Aussies after he did it sucessfully on the park. What goes on the field should stay on the field.

can i know who was the post-match presentator ??
as dhoni said "i read an article by you on cricinfo" !

If India win it all then you'll have to support them or you wont be a World Champion fan... hahaha sorry to easy to resist. I think we should just let WC be different (non Indian fan from India) and respect it.

Great game from India. It was a really good game. The two best games of the tournament have both involved India--the tie against Pakistan being the first and this match being the second. This team is gelling together well and hopefully we will have a crackerjack of a final.

I never asked you to support India, stick with whichever team you support, I respect that :) but I meant your nature instead (Attitude towards life - Win Win - which is good) :)

Wow. What a game. Yuvraj Singh was magnificent, fully harnessing his hitting ability with the fine support of Dhoni and Uthappa who played fine supporting roles. India have come into the tournament with a clear plan to build a platform for Dhoni and Yuvraj to explode off and the plan has worked well.

Sreesanth and RP Singh were both good, accurate and fast, it was great. I was saying that Sreesanth should come on (just before he did), and it was the correct agressive move to dismiss Hayden. Pathan was good but slightly overused the slower one.

Dhoni was a magnificent captain - he had the guts to trust Joginder in the final over and it worked well because RP Singh made the target extremely hard to get the previous over.

He was supporting Bangladesh in the World Cup 2007.:p
