Why the $#!@ would they drop Head. I understand he's a leftie, but so is Renshaw so it makes zero sense.

Brilliant first hour for India and then the next belonged to Marnus. If Australia get past 250, which looks likely at the moment, India will have their task cut out for them. Still too early to call, a wicket can change the momentum.

Renshaw included so he can get over his 1st Test 'poop' memories :laughter:
In Renshaw's defense, he is trying hard to get accustomed to Indian spices. We must applaud his commitment as he waited no time to get back in the dressing room to grab his bowl of curry.

Jokes apart, Head should have played even with a broken arm and a leg looking at the form he has been in.

Whilst the procession has begun, can't help but think-how will India fare on such a track. The case for an attacking option like Gill, then takes centrestage.

The right handed Chanderpaul...

Actually going to call him a cross between Chanderpaul, Ijaz Ahmed and Roger Harper....:grinning:

Steven Smith taking the right approach here. Go hammer and tongs on a crumbling pitch. Had they started this from the very beginning, chances are they would have scored close to 200 for the loss of 7/8 wickets. However, I feel aggression on such wickets is the best way forth.

And with that, Smith's innings comes to an end....

Hadn't realised it had started. Warner bowled by a seamer from around the wicket by any chance?

Australia in the mud.
Reminds me of the Pune Test in the last #BGT hosted by India. Australia were in a similar situation, saved by a Smith century then. India wont have it easy. Lyon and the new comer Murphy (this guy) will run through our team for sure.
