Australian Captain Ricky Ponting looked in great form as he smashed Hermison and Gough all over the park with beautiful cover drives and straight drives. But his good looking inning was cut short when he edged to Anderson at mid-wicket off Gough. Ponting made 19 and Australia lost their second wicket for 45 runs.

That brought Damien Martyn to the crease and they added 17 more to the total most of which came from Jacques bat. Jacques is looking extremely good on the crease as he is concentrating hard and timing the balls well. He is not out on 30 which included 5 boundaries. After 10 overs Australia is 62/2 as they are scoring with really good run rate but the problem is that they have lost two very important wickets.

Jacques looks in great touch as he and Martyn solidifies their partnership although the scoring rate drops abit. Jacques is close to getting his half century which has been an excellent combination of concentration and aggressiveness. Giles for England is bowling well as he is getting some turn and is fully using it for his benefits.

After 15 overs Australia is 84/2 with Jacques not out on 43*.

Jacques continues to play well as he completed his 50 off just 63 balls and his partnership with Martyn also crosses 50 mark. A really good inning from Jacques who is showing some really good class out there.

If you are in such a hurry, why dont you urself start a tournament? guys like ashu are not hired to start tournaments! they just start it by their own. and they will start it whenever they like!

Another wicket down for Australia as England is now creating more pressure on Australia. Matyn once again gets out cheaply as he is caught by Solanki at mid-off off Giles. Giles got his first wicket as Australia lost their third wicket on 98.

After 20 overs Australia is 108/3 with Giles bowling really well as he gave only 14 runs in his 5 overs and picked up the wicket of Martyn.
