No doubt Inzi is an amazing batsman! He's 35 years of age I think and still playing some great cricket. Congratulations to Pakistani team and the people. Pakistan played some excellent cricket and deserved to win!

Yeoman? Explain

Blackwell>Giles.

My ODI side for India would be for England:

Trescothick
Strauss
Vaughan
KP
Collingwood
Flintoff
Read (Jones has been poor)
Blackwell/Ali
Plunkett/Anderson
Harmison
Jones

Flintoff is Englands best ever no5 batsman averaging over 50, Collingwood is one of Englands worst ever batsman and you wanna play him at 5 crazy.

One of pirvotal factors contirbuting to eng annihlation at hands of Pakistan was the great mix of spin and pace that our attacked is blessed. Bowlers with speeds of more than 90 MPH are the ones who can trouble batsmen on subcontinental pitches. While India's spin attack is fabulous, they lack a genuinely quick bowler ALA Shoaib or lee. That might make Indians work harder to remove English batters. Form of Pathan will be very instrumental in improving India's chances which look pretty good anyways ATM.

That was the problem for England sometimes it looked like England were playing with 2 bowlers. Flintoff in the ashes was bowling upto 95mph but since then his bowling has got slower and slower in each match as he's got more worn out through being overbowled and playing to many matches ie them silly super series matches. Harmison quite regularly bowls over 90mph aswell but rarely on this tour. I think expecting Flintoff to do the work of 2 bowlers in the tests was pretty key in the way his bowling faded as the tour went on.

it was an expected performance. England have always struggled in the sub-continent, right from the early 90's. But stellar performances from pakistan side, with everyone contributing.
Btw, no update on v-bookie yet?

India are ctap, Pakistan has got better players then them and are a better team. They lost the world cup final, the idoits I blame Tendulkar for evreything, where was he when India needed him most?, all he cares about is record. wherehas Inzy our great hero is a tru macth-winner and next to don Bradman, Tendulkar is fineshed, he is not anywhere near Inzy, think people.

Pakistan are the worlds best team.
Thanks for the laugh,Priyakant.Inzamam not only couldn't perform in 1999 WC final, but also he was utter crap in the last WC.Tendulkar is not finished,he's been going through bad-[atch but I hope he'll start performing like he used to do some 5 years ago, very soon.Inzamam is a great player but u can't rate above Sobers,Gavaskar & Richards.Pakistan team is very unpredictable. On one day,if they can win against sides like England,India & South Africa then on the other they can quite easily lose against minnows like Zimbabwe & WI.Its still a long way for Pakistan to call themselves the world's best team.I hope they improve & do better but its pathetic to call such a side "world's best team" who has won only one test series in last 12 months or so.Good luck to Pakistan cricket team anyway.

PAK will have to start winning matches against IND first, in the world cup, they haven't won a single match against them in the world cup, then they should think to beat AUS in the world cup, probably then they can think about being the world's best team, it would take years though.

.

Vaughan and Jones are our worst batsman.

Colly has an average of 31 in ODIs.

Rather have Flintoff at 6 to do someblasting.

Colly has a misleading average it is propped up by scores against bangladesh. Flintoff batting at 5 averages over 50 who in world cricket betters that?. Batting him at 5 encourages him to play himself in and we all know when that happens he can be devastating

Yes, but Freddy plays a key role in bowling aswell.

We don't want to wear him out or he won't be playing as many games as he can.

Colly maybe, but he is still an important player imo, and showed what he can do in many games vs the big boys.

I think that's irrelevant in the one day game he only has to bowl 10 overs, in the test arena is where he needs to be managed better.
