Could you point me to an example of this so that I could give it a try?

Yeah, like Matty's Hamish Marshall signature. Here:

I did indeed use that method lads. It's amazing how such a simple thing makes a big difference to a sig or avatar. Thanks to Sid for sharing this with us, it's very simple and the outcome looks great.

Do you have any idea how to do that on PhotoFiltre????? :(

Yeah, go to the toolbar which says; "Download Photoshop, it's miles better!" :p

Seriously though, i'm sure it can be done on Photofiltre, you'll just have to tinker with it. I'd help but I have no idea what PhotoFiltre is to be honest.

Briliant mate, it has really helped me out. Here is my first attempt.

And also, you may know this, but I found another way to glow. Go on Filter > Render > Lighting Effects and change the lighting effect from spotlight to Omni. And extend the circle to cover the whole image.

The face isnt visible properly so you could perhaps try tinkering with the Opacity levels in your two layers.

The Lighting effects are also a good addon.Maybe we could add another Render Layer and Fill them with some lighting effects and then add those Overlay and Color Dodge layers in.Its basically just tinkering with these things and finding the right combination.

Another tip Id give is after your final signature is complete,go to Layer->New Adjustment Layer->PhotoFilter.

Turn the Opacity to 50% and try out the different colour options in there, one of them might just suit your signature.Anyone wants to show an attempt of this?

Made a quick little sig and tried some of those effects Sid, didn't see much difference though.

Make sure that youre having this adjustment layer on the top(above all your signature layers),and you should see the effects.

EDIT:A slight change, keep opacity at 100%,and keep density at 50%.
