Does someone want to tell me the basic plot?

A guy who steals secrets from other people's dreams is asked to get into someone's dream and plant an idea in his mind that would have powerful repercussions.

Won't go any deep but SPOILER WARNING : Which was your fav part. I loved the scene where minivan drops from the bridge in slow-mo and they are woking in other levels. Such a tweaking awesome part. The gravity change :hpraise

1. When the girl gets into her dreams along with DiCaprio and builds the architecture. Also when she gets into his dreams and gets to know about his wife and their history. So awesome!

2. The one you mentioned - the van falling from the bridge, and the guys trying to complete the Inception before it completely falls into the water.

3. The initial theft attempted by DiCaprio at Saito's place and how DiCaprio's wife comes into that dream

What do you think happens in the end. I think it wont stop spinning. Her wife is alive and she was telling the truth. He is the one who is trapped in his own mind.

Nolan left that final scene to our own interpretations. I felt it would stop spinning and that Cobb (DiCaprio) is back to reality because till then, he was not able to see the faces of his kids because they were mere projections. But in the end, he finally saw their faces and was able to get to them and fondle them. But Nolan wanted to give us one final sense of a twist and so he showed the spinning totem and cut off before we saw if it stopped or not. GENIUS! He played a mind game there.

Maybe he saw them because his wife's subconscious mixed with his and it showed its projection of kids to him.

I will be seeing this off the back of your guys reviews, whenever it comes it in the next 5 years here in Switzerland. Takes so longs for films to come out, Toy Story 3 only comes out on the last day of the month. Will have to give this a watch then.

My take on the film and mainly the ending:

***MASSIVE SPOILERS****

HI! HI! HI!

1. Why do we never see how the characters get to different places? Cobb says in the training that in a dream, you never know how you got there. Cobb gets to Paris etc without showing the travel.

2. When Cobb wakes up as well as the others on the plane, where is the machine? They also wake up at the same time as Fischer. Surely they need to wake up before Fischer and get rid of the stuff?

3. The kids have not aged. It's pretty clear that Cobb has been gone away for ages but the kids are exactly the same as they were in Cobb's dreams the whole time.

4. By not showing if the spinner stops, Nolan plants a seed of doubt in the viewer's mind. He creates his own inception on the viewers.

Awesome film.
