are the ps3 games firmware free like u can get a game from pal countries and run it on ntsc system us canada etc
so if they make a cricket game on ps3 and i can buy it will work?
i heard this on yahoo answers.
but bluray dvd wont work thts wht was said by some one there??

There is no offcial Cricket game for PS3 yet. but if he wants he can play BLIC 07 with backward compatibility and as Sony has released the new Firmware which fixes the HD issue with some games. But this would only be possible if he has a 20GB, 60GB, 80GB version of the PS3 the 40GB version doesn't have backward compatibility.

I think you should consider of a HDMI TV before getting a PS3 as at 1080p the gfx are Anti aliased.
