Unbelieveable. Patel and Bond were amazing. Bond got over 150km/h that is fantastic to see. I hope hes still ok and everything though.

Vaas was unlucky not to be playe rof the match. But I guess Patel really totally won NZ the game by taking the best economy and 2 wickets at crucial times.

Fleming's captaincy was fantastic.

Now in saying that, we didn't bat well enough, lets not forget that. Hopefully we do better in Napier. I would love to see us bat first again. Practice makes us better and this should give us confidance.

The form SRL is in at the moment, its unlikely that they will be able to beat SAF. Obviously they can't win a single match against AUS. :onpc

Patel bowled terrific..........but Vass bowled much much better.....come on who would rather have has a man of the match-award.......Patel who had 2-23 bowled economical......or on the other hadn Vass bowled accurae with good varitions who had fugures of 5 for 39......Obvioulsy Vass.....how many bowlers can get 5's in a odi match in thier lifetime?........not many.

Vaas was hard done by. But i nthe context of the game, Patel won the game for us. He put pressure on and took key wickets at key times. When a team is only chasing 220 odd it takes some amazing bowling and thats what it was. No boundaries were scored off Patel in an ODI. Amazing.

Fair enough call on MOTM in my opinion. Vaas bowled very well but some of the wickets were soft dismissals rather then overly convincing bowling.

Well more times than not the side that wins usually has a guy that has performed extremely well. MOTM obviously would have gone to Vass if SL won but NZ did so they clearly must have had someone playing very well to win them the game.
