What I really want to see is the keeper who will keep in place of MSD. It wont hurt to go after Wridhiman Saha or Sreevats Goswami.

Yeah I think so too....no matter what they do, its the bowlers that are not able to do things (like taking Dilshan's wicket) I know its difficult in these kind of pitches but you cant just stand there and watch him hitting!

Why isnt Mike Young staying for a longer period of time? He cant do all these trainings in just 2 weeks time..he need to work with them (And Mike Young was very impressed with Indian U 19 Cricket team fielding! They got a future! )

1) Never drop the sitters & lolly-pops
2) Hit the stumps directly from inner circle at any cost.
3) Fielding near boundaries under pressure.

Viru has some good experiences in the domestic circuit wrt captaincy and has captained India for a few games in the past. Gauti will be a premature choice as I believe it would put excessive pressure on his shoulders.

About Dilly, mixing the deliveries up and trying make use of the huge room he creates between his pad and bat during batting should help team India. Like Ashu did yesterday

Young seems to be talking well about Chandrakant Pandit and his approach to fielding during the practice sessions for the U-19 lads. Maybe the BCCI can have a clue here and try out Pandit as our fielding coach and see what happens. Our senior players (Sachin, Sehwag, Zaheer) are very safe fielders and catchers. Its the younger lot thats making mistakes inspite of having a very good reputation at fielding. They need to be rectified and brought back to their optimum level at which they will be excellent.

Gambhir as captain? OOPS! Why not Sehwag? Also if Yuvraj would be there, it would be a great replacement for Dhoni's batting expertise (Yuvraj is a far better bat than Dhoni in ODI's and T20's).
