yeh correct but ea have good modes so that can give them slight edge

No - good modes does not give you the edge if the AI/gameplay is crap

Cricket 2005. Why you ask? Because I reckon the gameplay will be **** in both, and at least the EA game will have the features to allow me to do things like fantasy cricket with it, rather than the 17 teams/ 16 player squads bullsh*t
So whaddya going to do? Not buy either one? If the gameplay is going to be **** in both, then I don't see the point in getting either game, since gameplay is by far the most important thing.

You just sound a little too hard to please.

i seem to be alone, and i dont mind cricket 2004, until i came on here i didnt realize the flaws in it besides the real obvious ones which most games have flaws and bugs. i like the authenticity (cant spell) of EA's cricket games and BLC i doubt will be able to get all the proper stuff

This time both game will have huge improvement to their predecessors and have own advantages hopefully.

more modes ? Maybe I missed something but so far Codemasters have promised atleast 3 things that EA DON'T(yeah, don't) have:
Official License from the ICC
Double Wicket Mode
Classic Matches

i think you forgot create your own tournament mode

If they get the gameplay right then I'd say c2005, but knowing hb and EA that wont happen. So i've voted blic.

How about World Cup and ICC Champions Trophy? I think those are two tournaments that EA can't officially have.

EA Sports Cricket 2005

I think that EA Sports have had the advantage over the years since 1999, as they have got the licenses and placed authentic kits and players into their games. Codemasters now have an official ICC license, which gives them the power to do this and more. We already know about official bats and balls, plus the official ICC umpires. I have voted for Brian Lara International Cricket. :)

Ofcourse EA have had an advantage, they've been the only ones making cricket games since 1999!

Disagree

I totally disagree with anyone who says that EA Sports' Cricket Games are bad. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing Cricket 2002 and Cricket 2004. Correct a few bugs, and these are classics. :)
