Well, technically he was never really on the scene; he made his ODI debut after playing like one FC match for Jamaica.
But still, true, it's funny how he received all that attention and failed to deliver immediately, and as a result has kinda disappeared. Not that many actually expected him to perform- it would have been far more beneficial if he stayed on the FC stage and practiced his trade to a further extent before being cited by the national team. But that tells us alot about West Indies cricket, where they neglect development when the emerging players are coming through the ranks.
Great to see Bravo back, he's a class performer in all aspects, and his energy in the field seems to add alot. How gun was his caught and bowled last year!
(Chanderpaul's catch was probably better to be honest, but Bravo's happened so quickly after the skipper's excellence that it was shown up
