93-5, 28 balls(4 overs) without a run for Australia.

HARMISON IS BACK!!!

What the ****kkk is wrong with our team??, we're playing so bad recently, we shouldn't be loosing to england, thier team is ok, but it still should be business as usuall for us. this slump better not continue.

196 on a fast bowlers paradise. Could be a close game with McGrath and Lee with the new ball. I expect England to get the runs in the end though. Hopefully there's still cloud cover when we're bowling. Hussey should be in the test team, he's a star

Yep, this game is far from over. A couple of early wickets and it's game on; but a good start for England and it could be over in 35 overs. Should be interesting.
Don't know why Vaughan didn't bring Freddie and Harmy back on earlier. Colly and Giles did a good containing job, but the faster bowlers could've finished the game off earlier.
Btw, cloud cover is forecast to continue, but it is brightening up here in the South East.

And groobz, that attitude ('their team is OK but we should be beating England, ...') is typical of the Aussie arrogance which makes your team so disliked throughout the world. Credit where it's due, eh?

England 2/14, game over?

heh, 3/19. GAME OVER! I might aswell go to bed now

Yep, you're probably right. Off you go then. Sleep tight.

It's suddenly 5/33, McGrath getting back into form taking the scalp of Flintoff. England in trouble.

Edit: I should add Collingwood was dropped the previous ball.

Fair play to the Aussies, they're wiping the floor with us, aided by some pretty **** poor shot selection by some of the England batsmen. They're trying to smash every ball to the boundary, instead of trying to see off the quickies.
I'll just be glad to get more than our lowest odi score of 86  !

Well this is fun!!!! *not*

I cant think of one of our wickets where they have actually got us out Maybe Flintoff. Strauss missed a straight one, Tres played a stupid shot, Vaughan done what he always does, Pietersen played a poor shot.

Fair play to the Aussies they are the ODI champions and its easy to see why.

imo Vaughan shouldn't be in the ODI team or if he is open the batting, he made his name as a cricketer there so why change. Would Jayasuriya bat at 3/4? No.

Jones hit a six something to cheer. If we can get these to through to the end we might get close to the target.

Yeah - I can't believe the tactics our batsmen have been using. 188 in 50 overs - ok lets go out and try and hit every ball four a boundary on a pitch we had the aussies struggling on. nice one lads haha! Vaughan continues to look shaky, Pietersen probably confirms why he won't be in the test side, and Freddie again gets out cheaply. I know the Aussies are the ODI champs and we are 5th are 6th in the world - but the simple fact is we are struggling with the seamers - Brett Lee has been awesome since he came back and McGrath is again up to his old tricks.

ODIs are no indication for the Tests, but they are a phychological advantage to the winning team, and with 3 more before the first test lets hope Vaughany sorts the tactics out before the next 3 ODIs

Pietersen had a big chance today. I would pick Thorpe over him. This will be Thorpes last test series opportunity anyway.

dun wanna get ahead of myself but seems like those english journalists may be eating their own harsh worse in a few hours time
