Patch 1.04 Now Available on PS4

Hi Everyone,

We just put live an update to the PS4 version of Ashes Cricket.

Patch notes for this update are as follows

- Additional photogrammetry for English players
- Added static camera options
- Adjusted crease positioning to spinners
- Adjusted non-striker reactions
- Adjusted display time of ball marker online
- Adjusted timing of return to crease after shots
- Restructured statistics calculations
- Rectification of various anomalies

A number of these changes are to bring the PS4 version in line with Xbox One, while others will be available in an update to that console shortly.

Just to be clear, the X1 patch will be coming shortly? Correct?

Yes, will be soon - just I can't give an exact date at this point, it's out of our control. However the day one patch on Xbox One was slightly newer than the PS4 day one patch, so some of the updates listed are already on the Xbox.

Yep - we were able to get photogrammetry of additional players once the England squad landed in the country, and those are included in the update.

I assume it's for players in the English squad not previously face scanned - hoping a future patch will add a couple of new Aussies as well.

I sincerely hope you are joking. Maybe if the BCCI weren't so greedy, you'd get your wish in a future iteration. As it stands, I doubt BA have the financial means to meet BCCI's ransom demands for any sort of official licence.

Thanks a ton @MattW and the team @BigAntStudios for listening our request and making it possible in no time. It will put an end to our premeditations which we have been doing for years. With the new patch installed, just playing a game online in legend mode, can't really express in words how much difference its making in enjoying the best cricket game ever! Thanks once again!!
