I fear South Africa's strong batting will be too much for NZ's inexperienced bowling attack. Our team is depleted; no Shane Bond, Nathan Astle, Craig McMillan is injured, we cannot find good top order batsmen like the South Africans have.

However the series is heading into the NZ autumn so the pitches will be green and juicy which may suit our bowlers more.

Because all of you got predication wrong!

I have a theory why pakistan always thrash NZ in pakistan, and that is because our bowlers are crap when it comes to moving the ball through the air at high speeds. On the Pakistani wickets there is not much there for the bowler, compared to NZ wickets. There is not as much bounce, seam etc. So our bowlers are ineffective. However, the pakistan bowlers like Akhtar and Sami move the ball through the air more, swinging it both ways at high speeds.
That's why you guys score such high totals at home against NZ, eg Lahore when you got 600 odd.

It's a question of playing to your strengths.

**UPDATE**

1st Test - Close Of Play - Day Four

South Africa 1st Innings: 459 all out (Kirsten 137)
New Zealand 1st Innings: 509 all out (Oram 119 not out)
South Africa 2nd Innings: 134/3

Well it might end earlier if one of the players get hit. Theres a crater in the pitch that seems to be causing problems with dangerous bounce. Hope they end it before someone gets hurt.
