Trott and Morgan have put England in a position to make a half-decent total, but don't forget the bowling is :

Tremlett - got tonked last ODI
Bresnan - been good, not always the way though
Swann - usually reliable
Tredwell - did very well last ODI, but that was against a side vulnerable to spinners as was proven

Then it is 10 overs from Wright (one wicket in his last 10 ODIs), Bopara (decent enough) and maybe Trott. Might bowl tidily, Bopara the pick, but will they trouble Sri Lanka in terms of wickets? I think this could have been custom made for Collingwood, but then again who knows for sure?

205/5 with three overs remaining. Probably a bit too much left to do, should have maybe pushed a bit harder earlier as wickets in hand won't help much - lost wickets just hindering the slog as some sides have found out, need more to build up pace and start again when a wicket is lost, something you can't do with 18 balls remaining.

Although England is currently at 212-6 you should realise that the ground in Colombo is pretty big and scoring boundaries is more difficult then some other average sized grounds. It's not really a small stadium like the one in Bangalore, when the boundaries are set about 60 or 70 meters.
