So, about 60 days to go for the release now. Guess we can start the countdown now. :)

We could... but then the game would miss the world cup entirely.

Is a cracked patella as painful as it sounds? Cuz it sounds horrific! Sympathy!

It's worse than it sounds block, I've had 12 operations over the years, all on my right knee, including cartilage transplants to my knee cap and it never seems to heal correctly. Remember Sid Lawrence?? Never played again after his went?*

* not for England anyway.

Yeah remember Syd Lawrence. He grew up on the street behind where i was born, though many years before me. Terrible injury he had.

Yours don't sound a treat, either!

It'll never be 100% too young at 36 for a new knee just yet I'm still able to work and to play cricket albeit in 2nds at village level and i stand in the slips an bowl off 5 paces, butsome of the poor buggers I see in the orthopaedic hospital I go to make it seem like nowt!!!! Winters worst with the arthritis! But when you see little kids having amputations it's heart breaking, they're so brave.

A bit off-topic but if you're writing England off then you're a complete idiot. We're at home in front of very passionate supporters and I'd discount yesterday's game as nothing more than a fitness exercise.

I would never write off any team containing Ellery Hanley or "little" Andy Gregory. On the other hand, Mal Maninga can bring it. But as long as Ray French is calling it, we're all happy.
