My two favourite teams are in this group :) I'll be cheering on the Aussies as usual but got the best possible backup team in Brazil. :p

Brazil will be the obvious winner of this group. Croatia, Australia and Japan are evenly matched so it will be close, but I reckon Australia will come through with Harry Kewell :)

So 1st place is secured to Brazil other teams fight it out for 2nd place.

Well obviosuly :p. The other 3 teams are very evenly matched so this will probably be the best group for entertainment.

I hope Australia win the group and the cup so I win the sweepstake!

:laugh we are talking about Football world cup not cricket, but you never know. (E.g Greece)

Brazil will obviously top the group. For the second place I would vote for Croatia. Australia would have to play some good football to reach the second round.

Also Viduka has been announced as the captain for Australia during the World Cup.

My money is on Brazil and Australia to advance to round of 16.

I would agree with that mainly. I think that the Croatians are dissapointing sometimes, although they may get through. So may the Japanese but they are also like Croatia, they have a chance but I would favour Australlia.

imo...brazil needs no debate, they are almost certain to be through...
australia has a very good chance, so does japan.
croatia may be at the bottom...

It'll be a tight one. Croatia shouldn't be under estimated and neither should Japan. Aus defence looks to be good but will they be able to attack and score enough goals will be the question.
