Group H thread (Spain, Ukraine, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia)

Spain showed a lot of class coming back like that. Ra?l is their talisman and Aragon?s is the best manager in the world, IMO. Those 3 early subs really turned this game around. I think that this game was a wake-up call to Spain and Saudi Arabia should prepare for a shelling. :D

Aragones had his head down for some times in the first 70 minutes. It says a bit how the Tunesia vs Spain match went.

Looks like another of the favourites isn't so hot after all. Argentina now the best form team out there. Villa subed off already, not as much impact as his first game.

Spain came through in the end of Torres grabing two including one in the last minute from a penalty.
Brilliant victory!

Spain despite having conceded a goal (thanks to sloppy Puyol once again) played very well. They were always creating chances, and you knew it was only a matter of time before they scored.

All the three subs made an impact. Joaquin's superb pass created confusion in the Tunisian defence, ultimately resulting in Raul scoring the equaliser. Torres second goal was beautifully finished, great to watch. And it was a fantastic pass from Fabregas as well. Third goal was probably a bit harsh on Tunisia, but lets face it, the African side hardly made any decent attacks since scoring the early goal.

Well played Spain!! And now onto the Round of 16 and a possible clash with France.

Aragones may be class (long way away from best manager), but he shouldn't be in this world cup or in management at all if FIFA actually gave two hoots about racism.

Spain came back well, that ref was shocking though.

I have to say most referees in this tournament have been shocking, giving way too many yellow cards and stupid fouls that shouldn't be given. They are also stopping some players getting treatment and not aloowing them to have water. Graham Poll has been the best surprisingly, i think he should be in the final if England don't get there.

Well played Spain after going behind, it shows how good their squad is to have Albeda, Raul, Fabregas and Joaiquin all on the bench. It also looks like Ukraine will go through now..

Tunisia played very good indeed i liked how they played bt after spain's first goal they got a bit loose.. not Spain's best performance but good enough to win..

Yea, like how he insulted Reyes way back when. But that is how he works, and you can't argue with the results (20+ match unbeaten streak). :D

How he insulted Reyes?

That's not what happened.

He was trying to urge on Reyes by getting him to compete more at Arsenal by calling Henry a "Black ******".

NIce bloke for sure.

There is no place for racists in the game, but oh wait FIFA are in charge.

He was harassing Reyes for being of gypsy descent. Maybe at the same time he went after Henry too. Yeah, he isn't much of a role model. ;)

I think the refs handled this game pretty well. Maybe not the best performance, but not everybody can be Collina. :D

From what i've seen so far I think Poll is better than any I've seen.

Spain were poor today. Especially in the second half, when we were too sloppy with our passes and extremely random too.

But overall Spain leads all the World Cup teams in most statistics, which is a good start. Tougher and bigger tests lie in front, and lets hope Spain can do it this time.
