I would say Mexico and Portugal would go from this group to the second round. The match Mexico and Portugal is the last, so by then they should make sure that this isn't a decisive match.

Yep, Mexico have improved lately and Portugal have a lot of good players. Iran and Angola have no chance tbh, although it will be interesting to see who finishes 3rd out of the 2.

Mexico are ranked fourth now in the world, but I think if they play some friendlies against European countries, they will drop some positions

I agree with that, these rankings are totally screwed.

5 USA + 10 England = Wtf?

It seems as though Sawker has really become a serious sport in the USA. But they are not that good at it if they draw with Scotland, Jamaica, Canada, and lose 4-1 to Germania!

Strange world rankings to say the least. But we should have a better ranking after the WC. Portugal should definitely go through and Mexico shouldn't have any problems getting through.

Go Iran, lets do it, Portugal would win in this group anyway.

This one's the easiest group I think. Mexico and Portugal to go through easily.

Id agree with most people so far, Portugal and Mexico to go through in some order. Iran and Angola just arnt strong enough.

Iran have been Asia Cup champs 3 times in a row, I know they are not strong enough but you never say, remember Bangladesh Beating Aussies.

There is hope for Iran as Portugal have been known not to be at their peak in the WC. On paper you would say what everyone else has been saying. But it only takes one off day by Portugal or Mexico and the other two could qualify.

I would like to see Iran perform and for the likes of Ali Karimi to shine in the tournament. They are a kind of team like Greece of Euro 04 in this tournament and will be looking cause upsets.....
