One Suji last played cricket 5 years ago and is, of course, retired and the other was not picked for the WC because of inconsistency.

And they both are 35+.

All retired...

How on earth did Kenya qualify for this WC?? They are awful. 5/57 now...

Good recovery to post 198, in context a defendable total that is also chaseable.

Not a lot of interest in this, even though as a contest it should be better than most so far. Neither side looks strong enough to cause an upset in the World Cup though, a bit more exposure might have seen names mentioned latterly replaced.

My goodness can anybody believe that this team was in the semis of wc 2003?This wc has been a nightmare for Kenya

At least they managed to score more runs against Canada when compared to Pakistan. ;)

Such a shame seeing how far Kenya have fallen. They are going to need to unearth some new stars if they want to repeat what they have done previously.

Osinde bowled a memorable spell not only with the new ball, but also with the old. In another life, he might have played a lot of first class cricket.

Sadly money rules large over the game itself and so sensible things like a tier system don't exist. Without exposure to these tests, maybe even exposure to Tests, these countries will never gain the recognition and even domestic interest they probably would if their side was playing regular internationals and even some big names. Maybe this World Cup will reinvigorate interest in Kenya, but what about some of the sides like Bermuda, Namibia, UAE and USA who aren't here..............................

And next World Cup is it to be just 10 (Test) sides contesting the World Cup? It's a lot easier to generate interest in a sport in a country if the side is in the World Cup, unless you are Scottish in which case the 'interest' is wishing bad things on England :rolleyes (DISCLAIMER : that is said in jest and an overgeneralisation, I know some do and some don't)
