New Zealand's Tour of Bangladesh

low scoring will mean that a result is possible but still unlikely

Well the pitch isn't actually looking bad now. I apologize a little for now. t may not stay that way. When I first saw the pitch it was quite a shock to see it black, looked soaking wet and horrible.

Chances are it could turn into a road and be unfair for Bangladesh now.

Jesse's got going with a decent innings so far and the run rate's up near four an over

Looking at Jesse Ryder's figure(s), he reminds me quite of one Aussie Mark Cosgrove.

We're batting well now :) 166/3 at 4.34 an over is really good. We'd be happy with this if it was the ODIs lol

Ryder,McCullum played well ,according to u guys when would be the decleration?any guesses?

we've declared. It feels so strange for New Zealand to declare because normally we don't score enough runs or am behind so it's normally them who's declaring. Good knock from Ryder and McCullum though.

Expecting a win from any side is almost to impossible, but wildest guess would be NZ because BD cant win from here because they need to score min 400-500 runs in just 1 day and pick 10 wickets,so that's not possible, and taking 20 more wickets for NZ is also difficult,a draw is the obvious result.

Well, if they wanted a result, both captains should have met and reached a conclusion of two declarations in a row, like Hansie Cronje once did, but I forgot who with, I think Nasser Hussain.

NZ batted well, seems like the pitch has definitely improved after Lunch otherwise Flynn could not have got to 35 :p

khalek added 26 Minutes and 34 Seconds later...

Vettori took 3 wickts in an over. What a legend! That Ashraful scored his 2nd duck in the series. What a choker :mad

Wow. First over, 3 wicket maiden. Amazing. If we bowl out Bangladesh for 61 max we can enforce a follow on.

good find. thank you.:clap

Well it wasn't that hard, I was just reading an article shortly beforehand that mentioned that game, I just found that article again :)

Even if they pass the follow on, New Zealand may decide they have enough runs and forfeit their second innings. Or just score another 50 really quickly
