Exactly my point, Misbah definitely wants him to play at least 1 Test.

I didn't know this. My apologies for saying the wrong thing above as one shouldn't judge somebody without knowing the entire details

Clearly the PCB Greens XI is the most likely XI and PCB White seems like the second-string squad. This probably means that Waqar was right in saying that they might play 2 specialist spinners at Old Trafford; Yasir and Shadab. Playing 2 spinners would be an interesting move, and hopefully, it pans out well.

To me, the Greens' batting line might probably be a tad too short, though.

2 minutes after I post this, Sohail Khan gets Shan Masood and Abid Ali both, and they're 12/2 after 10 overs. Sohail Khan making another claim for a possible selection?

Openers have been in woeful form, so far. I won't be surprised if Imam scores in this game and plays the 1st Test, instead of Abid or Shan.

As I write this, Sohail gets another and its the captain this time. 27/3 with Babar and Asad Shafiq at the crease and Sohail getting all the 3 scalps so far.

I'm afraid that Sohail doing so well in these practice games is going to result in him making a comeback for the Test side. Nothing against Sohail, but he is way past it. Should go for either the new guns (Naseem, Shaheen, Musa) or experience (Amir) or accuracy (Abbas) or pace (Wahab), but not Sohail. I don't know what he brings to the table.

Sohail completes his fifer. He is now a pretty much confirmed 4th pacer (whenever Pakistan play 4 pacers in this series).
