My favourite bowler is by far Alan Donald - he has such an athletic action. Shoaib Akhtar in my opinion throws a ball... I don't care what anyone says - he is a thrower... very fast yes, but definately a thrower. I'll give him this much: He is by far the fastest thrower of a cricket ball!

Shoaib Akhtar does NOT throw the ball! If he did, he wouldn't be playing cricket. His action has been approved by some of the world's best specialists in body mechanics. If you have proof otherwise, please share it with us.

For me it would be Wasim Akram (especially in his prime). Storming in with an old or new ball and getting it to do all sorts, the sheer mannersims and run up was a pleasure to watch.
