Australia in India 2013/14-Limited Overs

Ishant Sharma has changed the game in one over for Australia. That's how capable bowler he is.

Bloody hell :mad

Full marks to Faulkner though.:thumbs
Its finally time for Ishant to go from ODI's

What happened there? One of the widest balls in the history of the game, given as a wide only for the Umpire to change his mind when Dhoni and Ashwin glare at him? I hope he's making enough money out of this game, because there's no chance that he's getting another one in the middle.

That umpire was unimpressive, but quite sure the right decision was given in the end, what matters!

That tall hairy guy completely ruined it, totally friggin' horrible bowling that was! To give such juicy deliveries in the hitting zone for an average guy like Faulkner, is just so criminal. Ishant Sharma needs to be thrown out immediately. I wouldn't mind a run leaking Umesh Yadav because he won't give away 30 runs an over like this bowling this kind of shockingly bad overs.

A splendid innings from Dhoni goes to waste! I wish we were crushed than to lose games like this where most of the game was ours.:facepalm:mad:(

WTF!WTF!WTF!!
Literally can't believe what just happened.:facepalm Thank you ISHANT SHARMA for displaying your awesome bowling, giving away easy victory to the opposition. Oh come on!! You are a bowler representing your team at the international level, you can't bowl such UTTER ----!!! At least learn from the mistakes.:facepalm Even after getting hit, how can one continue to bowl similar deliveries again. POOOOR POOOOOOR bowling stuff really.
Yeah, give that guy some more matches. He needs more matches to show his kindness to his opponents.:rolleyes

You sure you were watching the right delivery? He bowled an off break which pitched a mile outside leg stump and went even wider down the leg side. All Voges did was try to hit it, it's not like he'd already been in a switch hit stance before the ball was bowled. It was one of the worst decisions and collapses to pressure that I have ever seen from an Umpire.

Deserved result in the end for Australia, after the decisions they had to suffer.

Alright, someone go to Mohali cut down Ishan't hair so he can know where he needs to land the ball.

Are you sure its only valid for the change in stance and not for simple reverse sweeps?

Vinay Kumar is a lot better. Atleast he tried the yorker and ended up giving a full toss which Faulkner deposited for a six to win the game. Ishant didn't even try anything remotely close to a yorker in that torrid over which cost us the game. When will we have someone who can drill into the minds of these bowlers to keep trying yorkers often in the death overs?

Yes. There is no actual rule that says it should be ignored if the stance is altered anyway, that's just something that Umpires tend to add in off their own backs at the moment.. If he tries to play a normal sweep and can't reach it, it's a wide every time, so what's the difference? The Umpire even knew it should be a wide, as that's why he gave it. He just caved into the pressure of Ashwin and Dhoni.

For God's sake, give Unadkat, Shami and Mishra a chance for next game. You can't have other players to bench warm even when other players are not performing well. Surely its high time to drop Ishant, and many new potential youngsters can be given chance. There no hope from him as I told earlier. You may have a bad once or twice but not every match. I would kill Dhoni if he selects him for next match after his today's performance.

Actually Faulkner and Ishant are the people who are talked about now. But there was one guy named Ashwin Ravichandran who bowled a brilliant 49th over by just giving 5 runs. He did not bowl any loose balls. The last ball was actually a great ball as he saw Adam walking down and he locked him totally. Jadeja did a brilliant stop in that dramatic over by Ishant. These are some important things that happened too. Not to forget Jadeja bowled well too.
