I think it's the closest Australian Test Kit I've seen / been able to find on here:

Also, we can't do anything about the yellow on the collar because it's on the inside of the collar, as far as I know it's only possible to show the outside of the collar. It looks like the only real difference is that the yellow line should run underneath the armpits and not down to the side? For me it's good enough, I've reached the point where I've just had enough of all this stuff and want to get it completed now :( If somebody wants to make perfect kits to be included in this mod and the patch then it will need to be very soon because I'll be making the patcher in the next week or two probably.

You are right, I noticed this too when I was looking for the players bats/gloves.

However, the Kit included in this Mod is the correct one for the Ashes 2019 Series, the kit you've posted was for the India & Sri Lanka Series by the looks of it.

Windows 10 with Nvidia graphics?

Read this:
https://www.planetcricket.org/forums/threads/not-working-windows-10-1909.114137/#post-3383628

Did the game work before you installed the mod? If it did try to restart your pc/the game, sometimes you need to do this a few times.
bro it did work before perfectly. After installing the patch betas and the mod.it stopped.
i tried all the methods but still could not pass the loading screen.
i use windows 7 and nvidia graphics.

Mate I am finally installing the mod today. But before doing so, I wanted to ask one thing, will it work fine with Intel HD Graphics ? It has been working perfectly with Intel pretty well for years, but yesterday I finally switched to Windows 10.....

Also, can you please explain the difference between the RADAR ON and RADAR OFF ?

Ok, can you take a photo of the exact screen where it's getting stuck? Sometimes it takes a few tries at restarting the game and your PC to get it to work after installing the mod (lots of new files to process). Next time you open the game don't press anything for a few minutes, watch the intro videos and wait 30 seconds before you press enter on the first screen. If it doesn't work reboot and try again. Are you using a real copy of the game or did you download a cracked/illegal version? If you are not using a legal copy I won't be able to help any further.

Intel or possibly ATi/AMD is the best option now for Windows 10. If the game is laggy for you use the display.opt settings I shared in the topic: https://www.planetcricket.org/forums/threads/not-working-windows-10-1909.114137/#post-3383628 although you might want to pick a different resolution, that's up to you.

Also, can you please explain the difference between the RADAR ON and RADAR OFF ?
It's just the radar you see on the bottom right of the screen to show you where the fielders are. It adds an extra layer of difficulty and the game looks nicer if you remove it and you can use the tactics option on the menu to set your fields instead and the replay option to check where the opposition fielders are as well. I found batting too easy with the radar enabled (even though I play with the hardcore mod) and I didn't like all that ugly stuff on my screen so I removed the radar. If you are not sure then start with the radar on version you can always download the radar off patch later to swap if you want (without reinstalling the game, just run the radar off patch and it will patch the radar on version you already installed).

@Toby Did you manage to get it working for you?

With Windows 10 and Intel I often have to restart the game and/or my PC a few times to get past the initial loading screen but it does work, it just requires a bit of persistence. I think it's best to disable Game Mode as well:

Another piece of advice, when I'm done playing and I save and quit to go back to the game's Main Menu I've found that it's best to hit CTRL + ALT + DELETE and open Task Manager then close the cricket2009.exe process manually to get back to Desktop - If I try to close the game using the game's Main Menu then it will freeze and become unresponsive. Also if I do exit out of one of the Test Matches then I have to restart the game in order to play again, If I try to go back into a Test Match without restarting the game it freezes too. Thanks so much Microsoft and also Nvidia for these bugs! Would be really nice if the game didn't have so many annoyances to overcome to play it... However it does work with a little bit of effort and I feel it's worth that effort because the Mod is a lot of fun. I suspect anyone using older versions of Windows may find it a lot more bug-free than those of us with Windows 10.

If anyone is struggling to play or enjoying the Mod please let me know!

Mate for the moment I am surrounded with yet another problem. My ashes cricket 2009 disk has an autorun Trojan in it, no idea how ! Where should I contact about it ? I bought the CD in Birmingham in 2015, now I am out of the country, so that's no option :( So I am afraid to insert the disk and run game !

It sounds to me like the Virus is in fact on your PC - not the DVD. Providing you bought an official retail copy of Ashes 2009 it would be impossible for a virus to make its way onto the DVD itself unless you copied (burned) the original DVD onto a blank writeable/rewriteable DVD. You will need to clear the virus off your PC, by the sounds of it, it has infected the Autorun functionality of your Windows Operating System, you could verify this by inserting another DVD/Game and seeing if it does the same thing.

I would recommend: https://www.eset.com/uk/home/smart-security-premium/ I have been using it for over a decade and never had a virus - you should be able to get a free/trial version of one of the ESET products if not Smart Security Premium that will help you clean up your computer. If not, google: 'free antivirus' and install AVG or Avast or something similar.

Rest the mod runs fine, having a great time playing it....Can't express how happy I am, thank you bud :)

A question nevertheless....Can we add Lil bit of our own mods in it with the help of .big editor ?

Glad to hear you got it working and that you are enjoying it - even better! Feel free to add whatever you like, once the Mod is installed you'll just need to use the Big Editor as usual. Be aware though that if you installed the Hardcore mod you will need to insert your files twice because you will have async.big.w32 and BOWLING.async.big.w32 or BATTING.async.big.w32 (depending on which mode you have selected).

So, it sounds like you installed the Hardcore Mod Version? :) The Hardcore Mod is only for batting because you indeed need to see the Bowling Reticle to bowl. So, when it's time to Bowl save and close your game and run the "batting-bowling-switcher" which should be in your Codemasters/Ashes Cricket 2009/final directory providing it installed correctly. In the image below I have Hardcore Batting enabled:
image.png

I run the "batting-bowling-switcher" and I see this:
image.png

Now the directory looks like this:
image.png

and I know the non-Hardcore/Bowling Mode is enabled. Would recommend to create a Desktop Shortcut to the "batting-bowling-switcher.bat" file too for ease of use (the file itself must stay in that folder to work though).

Thanks mate ! I will do this then today...
