All that stuff about the Socceroos being dirty players had the referees looking for fouls every minute. One of the things that pegged us back.

Omg, Kewell. How did he miss that goal? It was open! So many good chances gone begging. On the bright side, its tough to make chances against a team like Brazil, and we fought hard.

Stuff History! (That Nike ad is hilarious)

Seen the new one where those two people give the crippled guy a Croatian jumper? Not quite as dramatic (;)) as the other one, but still quality! :)

If he had fans why wouldnt they like him? Fans are there for liking.. so if noone likes him it means he hasnt got any fans!

... stupid statement! ...

Here is something you guys can discuss about.

Kewell charged for insulting ref

Harry Kewell could miss Australia's crucial Group F game against Croatia after being charged by Fifa with insulting referee Markus Merk.

The Liverpool winger was reported for swearing at the German official after the Socceroos' 2-0 defeat by Brazil.

Kewell has until Tuesday to respond and the verdict will be announced before the final group game on Thursday.

Well it would hurt Australia if he was banned, but I see no other choice really.

That kind of thing shouldn't be tolerated on a football field.

The ref did do a fairly ordinary job in my opinion, still shouldn't cop abuse from players. Kewell does deserve some sort of punishment for it. Although the only good thing the ref did was show some backbone when it came to back chat. Two yellow cards given for it. If only more referees did it, the game would improve. Like when you get 5 people from the one team arguing with the referee about a decision right in his face (One thing that annoys me when watching football), each player should be given a yellow card. It's dissent and I know from when I did the football referees course, that it is a yellow card offence.

:eek: well he wasnt too harsh to the ref as it writes there.. but who knows what is going to happen.. but Kewel must play against Croatia..

Well he did so because the ref wouldn't let OUR captain Mark Viduka speak to him. That is a mistkae as he's the only player who can talk to the ref about decisions.Good to see Kewell get off.......C'mon the Aussies!

Well it's not like we got away with much against Brazil. They smallest of push would result in the ref blowing his whistle. Really slowed down the game and just didn't feel right for us Aussies that are use to seeing lots of contact.
