England's second 3 day tour match takes them a mere 2100 km across the Bight to an almost-new-look Adelaide Oval, with the new western stand in the final stages of construction.

All Australian players will be free during this game, so South Australia will likely field their best.

Ferguson would be the one to watch out for here, also worth having a look at our backup bowler in George. And seeing how effective O'Brien spinners are against an International side.

Just had a look at SA last match side:
DJ Harris
JD Smith
M Klinger*
CJ Ferguson
AC Blizzard
GA Manou†
DT Christian
AW O'Brien
CJ Duval
RJ Cassell
PR George

Can't see them changing that side apart from adding Cosgrove for Smith. Batting might be alright, bowling looks a bit suspect though.

It might be good for England to have a look at Ferguson and George. They might get a game in the series, if a few of the Aussie guys under-perform.

Daniel Christian, Rob Cassell and Chris Duval are rested for the tour match. Surprised not to see Duval in the side who has been impressive for South Australia with both bat and ball. They have the choice of either going in with four seamer's and O'Brien, or having the extra batsmen Tom Moffat at six...

Doesn't seem to be a stream, but we'll see if it's hidden away somewhere.

I would say England have butchered a good toss to win on a belter. A bad pull a, bad hook, unlucky Strauss and bad Cook. They could well dig themselves out of it, but it seems a tad unnecessary.

Nice recovery, but I think Bell has been stuffing around. Collingwood has scored all around the ground, but Bell is apparently only playing to the covers.

Nice to see George taking some wickets, nothing worse then having a bowler make his test debut and then go crap when they go back to State cricket. O'Brien might find himself into the main spinner role at this rate, one of the few spinners that are keeping it tight atm.

If they bat on, they miss the chance to have a bowl before stumps and just generally take up useful overs with tailend batting that serves no purpose. They're only 3 day games; as much as they lost wickets, they got enough runs in the context of the match. It's just that in a greater context it was questionable.
