I seriously doubt if India can handle Oz attack on the Barbados pitch.

Those who can play short pitched convincingly - Dhoni

Those who can't - Raina, Yuvi, Karthik, Yusuf, Jadeja

Unknown - Vijay

No real hopes here. :noway

Yuvi can play short pitched delivery. He is vulnerable to the moving ball only. Even Dhoni is vulnerable to the moving ball.

Yuvraj has always struggled against short pitched bowling. It is only recently that he has started playing short-arm pull and it is yet to be tested against a quality pace attack on a fast track. So, he definitely can not play short pitched bowling 'convincingly'.

Yuvraj scored a 100 in a test match at Lahore where all the other Indian batsmen were falling like nine pins on a green wicket. We lost that test, but Yuvraj scored a very good hundred. Yuvraj has always been a very wierd case where he plays fast bowling well but is weak against spin (Indian batsmen are the other way round). He has got hundreds in ODI's in Australia.

Praveen is injured. Umesh Yadav replaces him!

Injured Praveen Kumar out of World Twenty20 | Cricket News | ICC World Twenty20 2010 | Cricinfo.com

This may be a good thing...for Yadav to get some experience. Hopefully he gets a game.

This may be good for India too. Having pace in the armory is good. Will Yadav reach in time for the Australia game tomorrow? If not, Vinay Kumar will make his debut and Yadav might play against WI.

MuchMore has a good point. The Aussie bowling attack is unlike any other in recent cricket. 3 ridiculously fast quicks who are backed up by Watto and a decent leggie.

This is Australia's tournament, I have no doubt that they will win it, unless we see a very special performance in a semi-final to knock them out.

I agree with you.. But mate Indian batting has come out good in both the matches they have played. They will tackle it somehow is what I feel

If we succeed with our batting tomorrow, more than half the battle could be won. We have enough bowlers to restrict the Aussie batting lineup. Hope our openers give us a solid start and negate the fast bowling of the opposition. If that happens, we can easily score at 11-12 runs per over in the last 10.

Seriously? You sound as if batting is our weaker trait and we have enough bowling prowess to tackle any batting unit.

Thing is, not only is our bowling below-par when compared to that of Ozies' but our batsmen will also need to play out of their skins to make a game out of it.

On a juicy pitch, I back our bowling. Our bowling has looked toothless and non-effective more because of the dull and lifeless pitches all around the world. Whenever we play on a juicy pitch, our bowlers do well. But our batsmen struggle on a juicy pitch against high quality opposition. Thats why I said if we bat well, half the battle could be won.

Sri Lanka do one better than Australia to pip them at the top. That game should be a ripper, both sides have form batsmen and bowlers. WI like India up against it now but both matches showed you can massive NRR wins.

Sunday's Group F double header (Ind-WI, Aus-SL) should be crackling. The side that loses between Ind and WI should be almost buried, the side that wins between Aus and SL should be almost certainly through to the semis. Predictions: Australia to comfortably beat Lanka, WI to push India close to elimination. India might repeat their 2008 performance of not winning a Super Eights game.

If Australia beat SL and India manage to beat WI, the India-SL game will be a quarterfinal.

The same occasion was in previous year too but didn't India fail to win even a 1 match in Super 8's?

I doubt we can beat WI comfortably. Because they were the one who firstly bowled short balls to us in previous WC T20 and all teams saw from that and are now using the same plan. If India didn't improve their short balls techniques then they are again going to be fired by WI.

MY Predictions: SL beating Australia by 15-30 runs.
WI beating India by 5-10 runs or 1-3 wickets.
