That was a very typically Taylor way to get out

He wasn't the right bowler to target playing that shot, being a leggie...

I was hoping for another 30 or so in quick fashion from Taylor.. as long as they avoid the patented collapse the Kiwis can still post a target.

Good comeback of New Zealand. But I would have rather seen Taylor in the finishing overs. It's now 153-3 after 37 overs.

New Zealand should reach around 260-270 runs.

Williamson will need to score a lot faster than he usually does if NZ are to put up a good total. He's still has a bit of time to play himself in but not too long or else the innings won't pick up the momentum it needs.

280 is out of context now....:noway Even if they get to 230-240 from here, it would be an achievement...:p

If you know of an NZ player better than McCullum, please enlighten us.

Thats the problem there is no one else. Hes gotten too comfortable and will come out of this WC with an average of 50 and he'll think hes done alright.

----------

Anything less than about 260 isn't really going to challenge them. I dont really know what the logic was behind batting first, if anything with the dew factor and playing 3 spinners we should've bowled first. Or is the dew not going to be as bad??
