dictionary.com defines sport as "Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively" There is no rule book, and as all results are pre-determined, it is not competitive, therefore professional wrestling is not a sport.
That is not to say it does not require some athletic ability and skill to participate in though. But that doesn't make it a sport. Ballet requires a lot of athletic ability and skill, but no-one would suggest that was a sport.
