If we go according to the graphics then I feel Trine's cricket game has the best graphics.BUt will see about AI.It has got me completely excited.Can't wait for June.

Yep, I am actually pretty excited about this. As I said in the staff forum, I feel that EA 09 is catered towards the Asian market and 20/20, whilst Codies have developed this more for the Aussies/Brits and Test cricket

No generalizations please. Iam an Indian and I love test cricket and Iam looking forward to the Ashes. A cricket game which allows a good test match would be a treat.

Just something Iam curious about.Do we have something like 3 cricket games lined up for the next 12 months or so?
EA Cricket 09,Codemaster`s Ashes 09 and Trine Games Cricket 10.I have`nt even considered the EA Sports next gen game that the mods here were speculating about.

The screenshots looks good.Honestly i thought the graphics did actually look like a next generation ea cricket 07!
would love to know more about the gameplay!

No where did I say you have to be an Indian to prefer 20/20, but 20/20 is a lot bigger out in Asia then it is in Britain and Aus, and EA have gone for that market, hence the 20/20 domestic tournament, a.ka. the IPL. Of course their are die hard Asian cricket fans who love test matches, I didn't say there weren't any. Chill it down and don't flare up so easily

Might get it for ps3 if online play is good and people cant bowl wide length in online,otherwise its too hectic to cope with online cheating with the wide ball yorker bug.

The SCG ground in that video was stunning. I hope the rest of the game is like that. I could also recognise Katich and it seemed like Hughes walking out with Katich. It mentions that all grounds that feature in the Ashes are implemented in the game but it didn't say if all of the Australian stadiums are. I'd be really dissapointed if all of the Australian Test stadiums aren't in there.

I just feel like with the name of Ashes Cricket 2009 that they alienated the rest of cricket fans. When the games where called Brian Lara or Ricky Ponting they had more of a universal feel to them. Here's hoping that the rest of the Test nations are licensed.
