Hey Guys,

I followed your game developments right since 2008 and also liked some of your screenshots. SINCE YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO CREATE A 3D CRICKET GAME HERE ARE SOME ADVICES WHICH I THINK WILL BE VALUABLE.

1.DURING YOUR GAME DEVELOPMENTS I ALSO FOLLOWED TRINE CRICKET 10 GAME WHICH IS STILL UNDER DEVELOPMENT.

2. NOW LOOK AT SOME OF THESE SCREENSHOTS CAREFULLY:

3. NOW MY FIRST ADVICE IS ATLEAST HOPING YOU WOULD MATCH SOME OF THESE FEATURES LIKE THOSE ADBOARDS WHICH BY IMAGINATION LOOKED LIKE ELECTRONIC BOARDS MOVING RIGHT TO LEFT AND LEFT TO RIGHT DIRECTION LIKE THE ONES WHICH ARE USED IN REAL CRICKET MATCHES. AND EVEN IF YOU FOLLOWED FIFA GAMES SERIES (I.E.) FIFA 09, 10, ETC. THE ADBOARDS WERE FASCINATING IN THOSE GAMES. AND I AM HOPING YOU WOULD MATCH THOSE FIFA STANDARDS. ALSO THOSE STADIUMS, GROUNDS , WEATHER, STUMPS, PLAYERS LOOKED SO REALISTIC THAT I MYSELF GOT BLOWN OVER. SO I AM HOPING THAT YOU WILL MAKE THE STADIUMS SIMILAR TO THOSE OR EVEN SAME AS THOSE SO THAT YOU CAN GIVE A TOUGH COMPETITION TO FUTURE CRICKET GAMES LIKE CRICKET 10, ETC.

4. ALSO THE ADBOARDS MUST ALSO BE CHANGED. IT MUST BE SIMILAR TO THOSE OF THE REAL CRICKET MOVING ELECTRONIC ADBOARDS. {{{SORRY, I THINK I MENTIONED THIS IN THE PREVIOUS POINT}}}

5. ALSO THOSE FLOODLIGHTS OF THE STADIUMS MUST BE LIKE SIMILAR TO THOSE OF ASHES CRICKET 09 (I.E.) THEY MUST HAVE A REAL NIGHT EFFECT. THE OVERCAST WEATHER FOR THE MATCHES SHOULD ALSO BE REALISTIC.

6. FINALLY, PLEASE DONT TAKE MY SUGGESTIONS NEGATIVELY. I JUST AM WISHING YOU WOULD IMPROVE THE GAME BETTER THAN THE EXPECTATIONS AND SET A GOOD STANDARD FOR THE UPCOMING CRICKET GAMES.

WISHING YOU GOOD LUCK AND AS WELL CHEERING FOR YOU ALL.

Not sure if this has been asked (I apologise if it has) but...
Will the size of grounds be taken into account? For example, will you have to hit the ball better to hit a six at the MCG than at, say, Lord's? Would a top edge be more likely to carry for six at a small ground than a big ground? Will there be more 2s and 3s on a big ground, more 1s and boundaries at a small ground etc. etc.
I haven't come across a game yet that recognises the different sizes of grounds when shots are played.

Yep, every ground is unique in size. It really does have an effect on the gameplay.

Had come up with a crazyish idea. You could use animated texture for kits to make it look more realistic.

Please don't make fun of me.:crying

Hey Guys,

I mean the Developers. You have a great factlist and realistic features. Hoping you would live up to the Expectations and also hope this game becomes a grand success.

Here's Another Great Suggestion which maybe you have a thought about it (and if possible implement it) :

My Suggestion is to create the umpire referral system.

If you could create this you can become the first ever cricket game to implement it.

Just only have a thought about it. (And please don't be rude to me for my suggestion)

Wish you all good luck and hope you will be successful.

yeah, but it could be programmed to give a 50-50 response if that is what people wanted. i agree that it's almost impossible, because would the ai appeal against you.

Hate the idea. Whats the point the AI umpire should get it right every time?

Not necessarily, to get that realism there could be some bad decisions but there could be a 5% chance and then the 3rd umpire could get 1% of them wrong.

At first thought I agreed and thought it sounded a bit strange 'AI referring to AI' but as Giggity put it, it could be calculated in a way that decisions are something like 95% successful, to allow for mistakes and realism. You could go further still, and give individual stats for umpires, e.g Simon Taufel has a 95& success rate, and Daryl Harper could have a 70% success rate, along with the 3rd Umpires who would in turn have success rates, or as giggity suggested again 99% success rate with all the evidence and technology they have.

Implementing the UDRS is no different in my humble opinion to implementing the fielding or bowling. Why would the AI drop a catch, or why would the AI bowl a bad ball or play a stupid shot, because the players have stats so they can make potentially realistic mistakes for the sake of realism. The umpires are no different.

Whether or not LM wants to do this is another matter entirely as it is not doubt time consuming and arguably may not matter as much as expressed by the fans above, but it is a feature none the less that could be looked into

Is this referral system an integrated part of cricket yet? Because I thought its still in experimental stage. So why bother including a system that might or might not get included in cricket? They can use that time doing something else to improve the mandatory and more important aspects of the game. But if this referral system is part of regular cricket already, then my apologies.
